A Homely night at Ireley Farm B&B Cotswolds

If you are looking for a B&B in the Cotswolds that does not cost the earth and still offers quality breakfasts then Ireley Farm B&B near Winchcombe is a great choice.

We were welcomed with warm smiles, fresh tea/coffee and the most delicious home cooked cake/scones. It was just what we all wanted after a long drive! We sat and ate them in a lovely, characterful sitting room. (I know, I'm sorry - I always eat before thinking of taking a photo for the purposes of this blog - but trust me, they were delicious!)

We decided to explore and have dinner in Winchcombe, a 5 minute drive away and to wander around some pretty Cotswold villages to stretch our legs.

Driveway to Sudeley Castle

After the most glooorious sunset, we headed back to the B&B. The bedrooms are old fashioned in style, which may not suit everyone's taste but I think that just adds to the character of the place. The beds are very comfortable and I had the best night's sleep in ages!

After an amazing breakfast, that nicely fuelled us for our journey home, it was time to say goodbye to the incredibly friendly owner, Margaret (as well as the calves!). Until next time...!
